A Wedding is the most special day - we can help
The JazzCats can work with you to sculpt the most perfect day. We have been performing at all types of weddings for 12 years and have a gained a wealth of experience to help you plan something that can be rather daunting at the outset. Some ideas for you:
- • A solo guitarist, pianist or duo to play that special piece as you walk down the aisle;
- • A trad style jazz band to start the champagne flowing
- • Sophisticated subtle dinner music to accompany your wedding breakfast
- • A full-on party band that you can dance the night away to

Corporate Events
Glitz and Glamour
In our time as The JazzCats we have played for numerous functions, product launches, awards ceremonies, boat parties, corporate Christmas parties and themed balls.
We pride ourselves on providing top quality music and a full professional service right from the pre-production stage. We will deal with venue managers, sound and production companies, provide the correct pro-forma and will be flexible and accommodating on the day of your event. We are happy to dress up or down to fit your style, if required.

As we can manage the size of our band and the sort of music we play, we enjoy being able to play at all types of events - no event is too big or small and we are happy to work with you to give you the most competitive all inclusive, no obligation quote for our different line-ups.
Finally...a bit about us
The Jazzcats are managed by James, who is also a professional saxophone and woodwind player, composer and educator. James has played in many jazz bands, pop bands, west-end shows and function bands. He has toured the world and played at Ronnie Scott's several times.
James studied music at Oxford University, and after this he briefly became a management consultant! After two years he decided to re-think and go back to university to do a master's degree in Jazz Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. It was here that his musical career took off and he met some lifelong friends and top musicians that now form The JazzCats.
We understand that having an instrumental talent is just the start of achieving success in the entertainment industry. Reliability, friendliness, passion, ambition, a good reputation amongst colleagues and clients, punctuality, looking good as well as sounding good are all crucial.
